At Tutorsquared we help children across North London to reach their full potential with quality tuition, expert workshops and comprehensive interview preparation for 11+ exams. We aim to create confident, independent thinkers.

Our focus is on the four subjects of Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non- verbal Reasoning which are common to the ISEB Pre-test, 11+ London Consortium, GL & CEM assessments.

The sessions are led by us, Bernie and Jane we have spent two decades working closely together in North London’s independent schools.

We pride ourselves on being trustworthy, professional and honest. We also try meet the needs of parents at this critical time and demystify the school entrance process. We have worked with hundreds of children and we know just what it takes to support your child.

    School Holiday In-Person Intensive Course

    We offer holiday courses, typically four day blocks on 3.5 hours. We focus on key topics needed for that moment in the academic year encompassing: English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non Verbal Reasoning and 11 plus exam preparation.

Our experience has taught us that:

  • Small groups have the advantage of fostering an environment where questions are encouraged and strategies are shared.

  • There is no substitute for excellent in person teaching.

  • Regular brain breaks are essential for concentration and focus.

  • Homework set by the school should be prioritised before tutoring homework.

  • Just doing past papers doesn’t always work.

  • Open and honest communication with parents is vital.

  • Above all your child’s mental health is of upmost importance to us.

CENTURY is the tried and tested intelligent intervention tool that combines artificial intelligence with the latest research in learning science and neuroscience. It creates constantly adapting personalised pathways for every student and powerful intervention data for teachers.

At Tutorsquared our pupils have very different amounts of homework set by their individual schools. In order to cater best for the needs of our students, this year we have partnered with Century Tech Learning. We provide an online subscription for all our pupils and each week we assign tasks that target the concepts taught in the lessons and revise past learning. We use Century’s diagnostic tests to inform our planning and differentiation. Read below what Century is all about and some comments from one of our parents.

Our intelligent intervention tool works in three ways:

● The artificial intelligence engine creates personalised learning pathways that plug gaps in knowledge and remedy misconceptions.

● Easy-to-use data dashboards aid teacher-led interventions. Students who need additional support or challenge are quickly identified.

● Teachers are provided with thousands of high-quality resources for use in a variety of learning models including homework, classwork or revision.
