Meet the team

Our ethos is to support every child to meet their full potential in a positive and inspiring environment.

  • I began my career teaching Year 5 and 6 at a state primary school before spending time travelling and working abroad.

    Whilst working at an independent preparatory school in Hampstead for 19 years, I progressed from form teacher to Head of Lower School and then as Deputy Head for 4 years. I gained a wealth of experience supporting pupils and parents through senior school admissions, including the introduction of the ISEB pre-test.

    I co-founded Tutorsquared with Jane in September 2022 and I teach all the English and Verbal Reasoning lessons.

    I live with my partner, my two sons and our Jack Russell - George.

  • I taught in the independent sector for 30 years before starting Tutorsquared with Bernie. We met in 2008 when I joined Lyndhurst House Preparatory School and where I was Head of Mathematics for the last six years there. When Lyndhurst closed in 2022 we saw an opportunity to do something different and set up a business of our own. We have loved every minute of our joint venture so far. 

    At Tutorsquared I teach all the Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning sessions.

    I live in Highgate with my husband and grown-up son.
