DEFINITIONS:

You are referred to as ‘the Client’. You agree to the purchase of tutoring services on behalf of ‘the Student’. ‘The Student’ may be yourself or another person. The Student is the person who receives the tutoring service.

The terms “us/we/our” refer to Tutorsquared Ltd.

The “Tutor” is the person who tutors the Client or Student.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

If you continue to engage with Tutorsquared Ltd, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions of Tutorsquared Ltd.

WHO WE ARE:

Tutorsquared Ltd is a member of The Tutors’ Association, which is the only professional membership body for tutoring and the wider supplementary education sector in the UK. As a member, we have signed and must adhere to the “Code of Professional Practice for Tutoring Companies” and all of our Tutors must sign and adhere to the “Code of Ethics for Tutors”. Both documents are available upon request. We are qualified teachers with enhanced DBS checks.

Tutorsquared Ltd shall not be liable under any circumstances for any loss, expense, damage, delay, costs or compensation (whether direct, indirect or consequential) which may be suffered or incurred by the Client arising from or in any way connected with Tutorsquared Ltd. For the avoidance of doubt, Tutorsquared Ltd does not exclude liability for death or personal injury arising from its own negligence.

AGREEMENT WITH TUTORSQUARED LTD:

By booking a Course, the Client agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions for the provision of tutoring services. This agreement governs the relationship between the Client and Tutorsquared Ltd.

Tutorsquared Ltd has the right to terminate a Child’s attendance from the course if the Child’s behaviour is deemed inappropriate and is affecting negatively on other attendees.

FEES:

Payment for courses must be made by bank transfer, by the date specified on the invoice and is non-refundable. Money cannot be refunded for missed lessons.

CANCELLATIONS:

• Cancellations by the Client:

Tutorsquared Ltd courses  are non-refundable once payment has been made.

• Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances:

If courses cannot go ahead due to unforeseen circumstances and need to be cancelled by Tutorsquared Ltd, then the Client will be refunded fully.

POLICIES:

The Client confirms that they have read, understood and agrees to the policies of Tutorsquared Ltd on the website.

LIABILITY:

Tutorsquared Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, expense, damage, delay, costs or compensation which may be incurred by the Student or Client whilst connected to the tuition, only where it is prescribed by law.

Whilst we work exceptionally hard to support and extend the learning of all students, we are not responsible for lack of progress, exam failure and negative school report grades.

JURISDICTION:

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

These terms constitute the whole agreement between the Client and Tutorsquared Ltd and no variation or alteration of these terms shall be valid unless approved in writing by a partner of Tutorsquared Ltd. Tutorsquared Ltd reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions and will notify the Client in writing of any changes.

The Client acknowledges that these terms govern the legal rights and obligations between the Client and Tutorsquared Ltd.
