Coping with the heatwave…
We are full of admiration with the way the children coped at Tutorsquared today. Despite some fans blowing and encouraging everyone to drink water, it was still pretty hot and sticky in the classrooms. We both commented on how good-humoured they were.
Term ends on Saturday 11 July . Over the the next two remaining weeks of term we will be assessing your children. You will receive a link to a google form to make an appointment to meet with us on Zoom to discuss your child’s progress.

Year 4
English - Grammar: Word classes.
Maths - Labelling and plotting co-ordinates using x and y axes.
Year 5
English - Gendered and diminutive words. Idioms.
Maths - Quick quiz of arithmetic. Continuing the topic of algebra with a focus on substitution into simple expressions and equations.
Verbal Reasoning - Timed tests on various topics.
Non-verbal Reasoning - Timed tests on various topics.
Interview Practice - If you were asked to bring along a sample of work to show the interviewer what would you take and why?
